Dr. Yu is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and Cornea Specialist who offers the latest treatment modalities in laser vision correction (LASIK and PRK), cataract surgery, and cornea diseases.

Dr. Yu graduated with top honors from Cornell University and finished with a top 3 GPA in his class. He went on to receive his medical degree and residency training in ophthalmology from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He scored in the 99 percentile on the ophthalmic knowledge (OKAP) exam among his peers in the nation and was honored with the academic excellence award. He then went to Boston and completed a cornea and refractive surgery fellowship at the Tufts New England Medical Center and Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston, which are one of the leading corneal research and clinical trials center in the country, respectively. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
